Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. DistroFly's legally binding agreement governs all use of our platform. Violations may result in suspension from DistroFly, its streaming account, obtaining court injunctions, or striking our cloud systems. By continuing to use DistroFly, you authorize DistroFly to enforce all specified order requirements.
Introduction & Acceptance
Welcome to DistroFly. These terms govern your engagement with our cloud distribution platform, music distribution tools, and all financial processing.
By registering an account with DistroFly, or using any of our distribution systems, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, and any supplemental agreements incorporated herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use DistroFly in any capacity. You must ensure you possess the legal authority to bind the entity to these exact provisions.
Eligibility & Authority
To register for an account or utilize the DistroFly services, you must satisfy the following prerequisites:
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your country, to enter into this agreement.
Legal Capacity
You must possess full legal capacity to execute these terms on behalf of yourself or your organization, or an international enterprise.
Territorial Consent
You must not be restricted or banned from using technology distribution platforms by any governmental, or international embargo.
By registering or otherwise using DistroFly, you confirm that you possess the legal authority to bind the entity to these exact provisions.
Account Responsibilities & Profile Integrity
You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials, privacy indicators, and recovery documents confidential. Any activity conducted through your online account constitutes a commitment/acknowledgement by you.
To secure your online account, you agree to:
Accurate Registration
Provide current, accurate payment information, tax IDs, and banking details at all times.
Unauthorized Access Alert
Alert the security team immediately if you detect any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Music Distribution & Delivery Protocols
DistroFly tools are transcription catalog items (including dance recordings, digital cover art, and metadata) to streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and YouTube Music.
We operate with a high delivery reliability, and delivery accuracy, and delivery throughput.
Delivery SLA:
Store-delivery processing speeds are subject to target streaming platform infrastructure, processing queues, and regional availability.
Conflict Rules:
Informational conflicts maintain absolute obligations to prompt, confirm, or remove conflicting content to ensure compliance.
Territorial Adjustments:
Pre-configured geo-restrictions, restrictions, or scheduling criteria flagged within your profile restrictions.
Ownership & Non-Exclusive Carrier License
You retain 100% ownership of your music, cover artwork, profile information, lyrics, and brand logos. DistroFly does not claim ownership, copyright, or perpetual rights to your creative works.
To successfully coordinate global distribution, you grant DistroFly a "non-exclusive, sub- licensable, worldwide, royalty-bearing carrier license" to:
- ›Host, reproduce, display, and transmit your content across streaming platforms and DSP interfaces.
- ›Generate promotional samples, pre-sale clips, and catalog entries within our platform.
- ›Store content for up to 90 seconds in duration.
Royalties, Splits, & Payout Procedures
DistroFly distributes between 80% to 100% of net royalties and revenue share to artists, creators, and record labels (depending on your selected plan, subscription tier, and custom enterprise distribution terms) collected through our digital streaming and retail channels.
Direct Deposits & Payouts
Royalties can be requested at any time once your balance reaches the minimum threshold ($10 or ₹500 equivalent). Payouts are remitted directly to your bank account via PayPal and other payment gateways within 2 to 3 business days.
Multi-Artist Splits
Collaborative releases support automatic revenue splits between multiple registered artists on the DistroFly platform.
Anti-Fraud Hold
To protect against fraudulent streaming activity, DistroFly may hold royalties from suspicious activity for up to 90 days pending review.
Acceptable Use & Anti-Piracy Mandate
DistroFly implements all evaluations against copyright infringement, artificial stream profiling, and fraudulent activity. The modality types that you acknowledge:
FORBIDDEN ACTIONS & SYSTEM ABUSE
- Submit for sale or stream the licensed music/content/digital rights.
- Attempt to circumvent DistroFly's content identification, metadata validation, or royalty calculation systems.
- Engage in stream manipulation, bot-driven plays, click farms, or coordinated artificial streaming campaigns.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including unauthorized samples.
Member Termination & Catalog Takedown
We may terminate or suspend your account and remove all distributed content without prior notice if you breach any provision of these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by applicable law.
DistroFly reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without liability, to suspend, terminate, or completely remove/profile access if you breach our acceptable use policies — or if a non-music-related intellectual property abuse claim is brought forward following review.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER & LIABILITY CAPS
The DistroFly platform and delivery systems are provided to catalog owners on an "as-is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied.
